Our Story………

Years ago a young lady decided that she wanted to use photography as her creative outlet. She began working her way to earning her Bachelors degree in Photography.

She started taking on clients but was totally unsure of what area she really wanted to focus on. So, she used her name: Jamie Akers Photography! This encompassed any area she may want to explore. Along the way she learned some very, very important skills and lessons within the photography field. She found out that even though she had 3 kiddos of her own, families + babies were NOT her forté, like AT ALL! But at the same time completely terrified to enter into the wedding world, after all this is someones BIG - once in a lifetime DAY!! Until one friend put her trust into Jamie and hired her for their wedding.

It was all over from there! She fell in loveeee with everything Wedding! The rush was incredible! And she got to be a part of peoples very special day and that is such an honor in and of itself.

As time passed, and her clientele was building, she knew that this was where she was meant to be. Jamie began diving head first into learning anything and everything about wedding photography. And finally she found and name + the brand she wanted to be for her clients!

In China, the magnolia flower is a symbol of strength and loyalty in love. It could not stand for more perfect reflection of what this brand is about.

Wyld is for the adventure + love stories. Connecting with passionate souls, ones who aren’t afraid to display their love in its fullest and climb to the top of any mountain to shout it!
